I promise I won't feed the gremlins, I haven't in many years and it does make a difference in the quality of my sleep.
I use psyllium powder to add extra fibre to my food (like yogurt or granola). Apparently most humans nowadays never consume enough fibre. It's usually recommended by nutrition experts, at least here in Belgium and France.
Psyllium is awesome, Stéphanie! Lots of tasty foods have fiber too, like asparagus, lentils, onions, berries and more. I also take a prebiotic blend (that I formulated) called Clarity.
This was a mind-bending read—“the night shift of the gut microbiome” is a concept I won’t forget anytime soon. It’s fascinating how our microbes don’t just digest food, but also co-author our stress response and sleep patterns. I especially loved the line: “Don’t feed the night shift.” Feels like the perfect mix of science and common sense. Curious if L. reuteri is something you’d recommend supplementing with directly, or better to nurture it through diet alone? Subscribed and sharing—this kind of content is gold.
What a fascinating read!

I fixed it, thanks Alison!
Can you describe the glitch?
Thanks, Anton! Yes, L. reuteri may help with anxiety and cognition: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41538-025-00369-z
Probiotic supplements are fine, but you can get this one in yogurt as well. Bon Appétit!

I tried to order but there is a glitch in checkout. Thanks!
